second book of Kings, bible

Elijah

Who is the fisherman?
Who will catch your soul?
And will the hook trigger your pain,
Will the glory be your shame?
John is not the only name.

Hallelujah - Elijah.

The sacred ground is spent
A chandelier of bones
Flowers dying in a vase
Through World War to the stars
You bear the cross
You wear the scars.

Hallelujah - Elijah.

A tribe is moving west
A schism sparks the fire
A virus hunts the perfect host
Once in place becomes a ghost
You hurt the ones you love the most.

Hallelujah - Elijah.

The prophesy stands clear
Seven portals lead to Hell
Six chambers in the gun
And then the Trinity is one
Now there's nowhere left to run.

Hallelujah - Elijah.

A god of tyranny
A spear of destiny
A jagged edge with which to gore
Blood and water shall pour forth
To flood the world from the sore.

Hallelujah - Elijah.

The spectrum colours all
No sunshine and no rain
Alpha and Omega are deployed
To seek and shape the void
Can a rainbow be destroyed?

Hallelujah - Elijah.
